This brewery is both puppy- and kid-friendly, with plenty of space to enjoy a great variety of beers and have a nice conversation. Thanks to my daughter and her husband, I got to experience it for the first time, and it was amazing! I even left with some extra beer and a t-shirt as souvenirs. It felt like a delightful break in the fabric of time—definitely looking forward to coming back.

We love this neighborhood brewery - we have for a long time. The vibe, the pups, the delicious beer enjoyed with community - can't get much better.  BUT IT DOES....my dog 'Luna' took off last night and almost every worker and person in this place helped scour the area for her and she was found.
This place is a true community gem. It's like a modern 'Cheers.' When I took my dog back there after she was found everyone cheered like they were watching the Spurs! Go check it out! 'where everyone knows your name and your dog's name 🎶....'

Great little brewery.  All the beers were spot on and the kitchen was really delivering some great food at very fair prices.  The schnitzel fingers, brat & seared spaetzle were all wonderfully done.  I’m not a fan of batter fries, but that’s me.  Also the house made pickled veggies were all interesting and balanced the plates out perfectly.

Unique neighborhood brewery serving up a nice variety of craft beer, there were 16 on tap when stopped in.  There is an indoor area with some bar seating, a sports area with TVs and pinball games etc... Beer is a Craft here!  They know how to Brew!  I recommend the kielbasa sausage dog with fries. The dog has a great flavor and the toasted pretzel bun rocks!  Fries are nice and crunchy with the peal on ends. Other menu items are amazing as well. German Schnitzel is incredible.

Ambiance: German inspired brewery with a huge outdoor patio area as well as indoor dining restaurant space and bar! This is honestly one of the best breweries in San Antonio! Amazing food and their beer list is incredible. As a wine lover, I highly recommend the Red Wine Supernova Belgian triple! One of the best beers I've ever had in my life.

Limited parking onsite as well as street parking. Does get crowded! Dog friendly and kid friendly patio space. Perfect spot for large groups and hanging out with family/friends. Very accommodating service and staff. Highly recommend!

My husband and I have come randomly throughout their years and decided to give it another try last weekend.  Surprised on how positive everything has changed as of recent.  Came home with a couple of 4 packs and a growler fill.  Environment totally different and better now too.  Keep up the positive changes!

Went to try out this brewpub with friends and we had a great time!  All the beers we tried were great!  Our favorite was the Red IPA (we left with a 4 pack of that). The food was hit fresh and delicious.  It is a family friendly atmosphere and still accommodates a group of friends. They also serve brunch and had some bagels left over that they offered us and they were also delicious. We will be back with our kids next time.

This is on its way to being another one of San Antonio's iconic spots for food and drink. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus all have unique offerings centered around homemade sourdough bread. This brewery has a great chill neighborhood vibe with indoor and outdoor seating. It has a mix of their own brews and other local brews on tap for a nice but not overwhelming selection. Do not miss out on the brussel sprouts! They were perfectly crispy and well seasoned. My husband and I got the focaccia sandwiches, and man, we were not disappointed! My Cubano was amazing, and my hubby's spicy Itialian was delicious as well (he allowed me one bite before devouring it!). Can't wait to try their pizza and wings!

Get the family size instead if you are splitting it with someone else. Great laid back atmosphere, great selection of pizzas and flat breads; all other food item selection is not very extensive but there are plenty of great common options (wings, sandwich, etc.). What an outstanding joint!  Perfectly placed in an industrial complex, so the weekend there is not too much traffic.  Did a 1:00pm tour with six other folks and had a blast.  Big Mike, our tour guide is a professional and knower of all things Bourbon and Beer!  Extremely knowledgeable and taught us all many new things with regard to the way to enjoy Bourbon.  The rest of the staff were very helpful and friendly to our other needs.  Highly recommend a visit to this unique establishment!  And if the pizza pie truck is there, grab a pie!

Really enjoyed our visit to Longtab Brewing! It took a bit longer than expected to order, but honestly, the food made it well worth the wait. What a great little spot! We are always in the hunt for places with yummy food and chill vibes and Longtab delivered!!! We had the garlic parm pretzel (10/10), the pulled pork sandwich (8/10) and the grown up grilled cheese with bacon (7/10).

Our biggest complaint is that the wait to order food was long and we weren’t checked on often. We would have spent more money, y’all!

Pretty chill place with great burgers. The Bacon Jammer was fantastic and it all starts with the perfectly charred burger. The fried jalapenos and bacon jam tie this all together, but the meat is the star, great crust and perfectly seasoned. Second time here and they always treat you well.

For you cider lovers unfortunately they only have 2 usually on tap. They do have wine but do nit expect the wine to be from vineyards of France. This is a perfect spot for enjoying some beers and food. It’s a small place with a few TVs and chill vibes. The person who helped us was nice and attentive. The beer menu is huge, I had a hard time deciding since they don’t do tasters or flights. Ultimately I tried a couple of Texas IPAs. Ordered 2 pizzas and beer at the counter. 30 minutes and 2 orders after us I inquired about our food. Turns out our ticket was "lost"  15 mins later and 2 more orders our pizza came out.

Roadmap Brewing Co. is an awesome spot with a ton of great beers to choose from. This place probably has my favorite beers in San Antonio so far. The space is pretty large, so there’s plenty of room to spread out and relax. One of the best parts—it’s dog friendly inside, which was a huge plus on a hot day. Great atmosphere, great brews, and very welcoming for both people and pups. Highly recommend!

Awesome little dog-friendly brewery! Roadmap Brewing has a wide variety of unique beers to choose from, and they offer great happy hour specials.
We were thrilled that our dogs were welcome inside, especially since it was a bit warmer than we had hoped for when we planned our trip.

Roadmap Brewing Co., which is located off of North Alamo Street in San Antonio, Texas, is a great spot for craft beer & cider in SATX!! The vibes inside Roadmap are excellent, as it is a doggo friendly spot, they have a large projector displaying local sports, and the place is immaculately clean + well-kept. The staff at Roadmap are SO nice, which really enhances the experience when you visit. They have WiFi, so it's a convenient spot for a little drink while you study or do some work. It's also a great spot to gather with friends + family, as they have lots of tables and seating available throughout the brewery. It's spacious, while also being cozy & comfortable. They also have merch for sale in the front when you order! Although they do not have a full kitchen or food menu available, there is a food truck that is situated outside (Last Place Burgers) - it's a nice touch if you're looking for a bite while you're on their campus! :-)

Favorite brewery-bar experience during my week vacation to Austin- Waxahachee- San Antonio. We had a great time here last night! The live entertainment was absolutely amazing! J-Nicole brought the fire with acoustic covers. This is a pretty laid-back place. It's good for conversation and catching up with friends while drinking an awesome beer. The beer selections are plentiful. Let me just say that my wife hates beer, but she loved their #2 fruity beer!
The food menu isn't really extensive, but what they have is good. The chicken tenders are actually real chicken... not processed or frozen. The Asada fries were really good! I'm looking forward to going back soon and hope they keep the live music coming. San Antonio definitely needs more venues like this.

Beer selection on tap looks good as usual. My biggest critiques today are

1. When we walked in the was one customer (I'm guessing) there and we didn't even get a greeting of any sort.
2. After standing directly at the bar for a few minutes the bartender finally acknowledged us and asked if we wanted anything.
3. They no longer offer samples.

They have something like 40 things on tap and not having a sample is kind of ridiculous given that every bar that has beer selections like this give tasters. If they're concerned about losing money on samples or to prevent people from getting sample after sample, there's ways to prevent this. They could limit samples. They could charge $1 for samples (one place charges $0.50 for each sample.) But reading a name on the board doesn't tell me much about the beer and buying a growler of beer you don't like sucks. I'll stick to The Flying Saucer, Big Hops, or even Yard House (I know they don't fill growlers.) But they give you samples and have better customer service even when they're packed out.

Was looking for a place to go with a large party to get the San Antonio experience and came across this place. From other reviews it appeared to be good food and decent prices, so we gave it a shot. We had a wonderful lunch at Southerleigh! The industrial-chic setting inside the historic Pearl Brewery is absolutely stunning — rustic charm meets elevated style, with brewing tanks overhead and vintage details throughout.

One of the best restaurants in San Antonio! Their fried chicken is so good, I would put them up against a lot of other places. The Hoppy Monk is an absolute gem! Our bartender, Nina, was fantastic—super knowledgeable about their incredible beer selection, which features a long list of unique and carefully curated brews. She helped us navigate the options perfectly.

For food, Nina recommended the Bacon Jam and Egg Burger, and WOW—this might just be the best burger I’ve ever had. This monastery is dedicated to the celebration of excellent beer and delicious food!  I had a great time here. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to help with making a selection from their large selection on draft.  They also serve cocktails and flights of whiskey, tequila, and beer.  The atmosphere is fantastic and comfortable, I really like the beams in the ceiling. I chose to check this place out based almost entirely on the name.  I wasn't disappointed at all! I met some friends here for a drink, and I was surprised at how spacious this place is once you walk through the doors. They have a huge outdoor area with a play area for kids. So don't let "Beer Garden" lead you to think this isn't a family place.
With plenty of room to spread out, this would be a nice place to hang out anytime, or especially if you might be seeing a show at the Alamo Dome.

Freetail is my favorite place to see friends and sunsets. It’s not just the pizza and beer…. People like Stephanie and Amber, along with many other wonderful staff make all feel welcome and provide excellent service any day of the week.

Ambiance: Cycling themed brewery off Grayson Street with multiple seating areas and a kitchen. I enjoyed sitting at the bar and drinking one of their IPAs. We couldn't have been happier with our experience (first time).

First, it's a micro brewery so we couldn't help but try the brews. I had the Single Speed, wife had the Lantern Rouge. In fact, we had two each! The Single Speed is like a pale ale but with more flavor. The Lantern Rouge is a pretty red color with raspberries, hibiscus, kviek yeast, and hops Amarillo, Huell Melon, Perle, Lemondrop. So refreshing!

For dinner I had the Smashburger with potato salad. The burger was awesome. It's a sirloin/short rib/brisket blend burger patty topped with american cheese, shredded lettuce, tomato and house made BaBC sauce on a brioche bun. My only regret was not getting the additional patty because the single patty, well, was...smashed!

The creole potato salad was equally delicious with nice-sized cubes of potato with plentiful chopped red onions in a nice blend creole mixture. I wish I had ask for more specifics on the wetness...

The wife had the carnitas street tacos - house-made crispy pork carnitas with chipotle slaw, onion, and cilantro in a corn tortilla, served with chips, verde, and avocado verde sauces. I had a bite of one of the three tacos - quite tasty, and the wife loved them.
And while were sitting there enjoying our second round of beers, we were intrigued by the "pepperoni chips" on the menu, so we ordered some. WOW!!! Slices of pepperoni fried crispy, sprinkled with grated parmesan, and served with gorgonzola sauce for dipping. What a dish!

We took the Mexican chocolate cake and the bread pudding home for dessert - those made a nice nightcap to a wonderful dinner.

The brewery is very nice, and it wasn't very crowded most of the time were were there, but they were getting busier as we got closer to leaving. Bartender Brian was ruling it by bartending, bringing out the food, and bussing the tables, as well as checking  on everone.

Worth every cent for the quality of the food, the exceptional service, and the atmosphere. Absolutely wonderful experience!!

This is a great brewery in San Antonio. We walked here from the Marriott downtown, which was probably a mistake given the 100 degree weather, plus we got lost trying to find the entrance!  But it was worth the trip!  The beer selection was great, with plenty of options for all beer drinkers. We ordered a few appetizers, which were all a big hit. Service was super nice and helpful, and it was a nice spot to chill in the AC. They also have a nice exterior area that would probably be nice at night or on cooler days. The view of the Hays Street truss bridge adds to the atmosphere. My suggestion to visitors would be to enter via Lamar Street. There’s a nice big parking lot right there with easy access again. If I get back to San Antonio, I would love to come back to the Alamo Beer Company!
