This brewery is both puppy- and kid-friendly, with plenty of space to enjoy a great variety of beers and have a nice conversation. Thanks to my daughter and her husband, I got to experience it for the first time, and it was amazing! I even left with some extra beer and a t-shirt as souvenirs. It felt like a delightful break in the fabric of time—definitely looking forward to coming back.

We love this neighborhood brewery - we have for a long time. The vibe, the pups, the delicious beer enjoyed with community - can't get much better.  BUT IT DOES....my dog 'Luna' took off last night and almost every worker and person in this place helped scour the area for her and she was found.
This place is a true community gem. It's like a modern 'Cheers.' When I took my dog back there after she was found everyone cheered like they were watching the Spurs! Go check it out! 'where everyone knows your name and your dog's name 🎶....'

Great little brewery.  All the beers were spot on and the kitchen was really delivering some great food at very fair prices.  The schnitzel fingers, brat & seared spaetzle were all wonderfully done.  I’m not a fan of batter fries, but that’s me.  Also the house made pickled veggies were all interesting and balanced the plates out perfectly.

Unique neighborhood brewery serving up a nice variety of craft beer, there were 16 on tap when stopped in.  There is an indoor area with some bar seating, a sports area with TVs and pinball games etc... Beer is a Craft here!  They know how to Brew!  I recommend the kielbasa sausage dog with fries. The dog has a great flavor and the toasted pretzel bun rocks!  Fries are nice and crunchy with the peal on ends. Other menu items are amazing as well. German Schnitzel is incredible.

Ambiance: German inspired brewery with a huge outdoor patio area as well as indoor dining restaurant space and bar! This is honestly one of the best breweries in San Antonio! Amazing food and their beer list is incredible. As a wine lover, I highly recommend the Red Wine Supernova Belgian triple! One of the best beers I've ever had in my life.

Limited parking onsite as well as street parking. Does get crowded! Dog friendly and kid friendly patio space. Perfect spot for large groups and hanging out with family/friends. Very accommodating service and staff. Highly recommend!

My husband and I have come randomly throughout their years and decided to give it another try last weekend.  Surprised on how positive everything has changed as of recent.  Came home with a couple of 4 packs and a growler fill.  Environment totally different and better now too.  Keep up the positive changes!

Went to try out this brewpub with friends and we had a great time!  All the beers we tried were great!  Our favorite was the Red IPA (we left with a 4 pack of that). The food was hit fresh and delicious.  It is a family friendly atmosphere and still accommodates a group of friends. They also serve brunch and had some bagels left over that they offered us and they were also delicious. We will be back with our kids next time.

This is on its way to being another one of San Antonio's iconic spots for food and drink. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus all have unique offerings centered around homemade sourdough bread. This brewery has a great chill neighborhood vibe with indoor and outdoor seating. It has a mix of their own brews and other local brews on tap for a nice but not overwhelming selection. Do not miss out on the brussel sprouts! They were perfectly crispy and well seasoned. My husband and I got the focaccia sandwiches, and man, we were not disappointed! My Cubano was amazing, and my hubby's spicy Itialian was delicious as well (he allowed me one bite before devouring it!). Can't wait to try their pizza and wings!

Perfect date spot, perfect walking spot, perfect place to stay, perfect place to bring your kids, just an overall amazing area to go and spend a day walking around. You can walk the river walk, see wildlife, have a photo shoot, and even fish in some spots. The market has a lovely ice cream area where you can get some cold desserts and have a seat right outside. There is a small green area for kids to play on and they have movies there sometimes.

Awesome date spot and just a go to place. Be careful with your parking, they will give tickets for not parking far enough away from the curb.

The Pearl is a great place to go when you need a bit of fresh air! All the restaurants and sights are extremely gorgeous and lovely, and the overall atmosphere is like you stepped into another world in San Antonio!

Very aesthetically pleasing views, with many recreational activities to enjoy! I definitely recommend this for date nights, or evenings out with friends as there is so much to do!

I was here at the Pearl yesterday reviewing the Central Market Rotisserie Chicken when it dawned on me. San Antonio is AWESOME. There is so much soul in this city. I've had some amazing food from Taquitos West Ave, 2M BBQ, Al Carbon Pollos Asado, etc, but what really sold me was the community feel in this city.

The Pearl is a huge walkable plaza with great restaurants, coffee shops, seating areas, a river walk, public events, etc. Yesterday there was a seemingly endless farmers market going on with local vendors selling everything you could ever need, kids playing tackle football in an open green pasture, and people just enjoying their Sunday in the sun with a beer or some fresh grub from Palmer Market. There is such a strong community here. It's infectious.

I pride myself on forming my own opinions on damn near everything, almost to a fault at times, but this weekend has made me realize that I let Charles Barkley and my hatred for the early 2000s San Antonio Spurs form my opinion on this city. Never again. I will ride or die for San Antonio for the rest of my time here on this planet.

I didn’t eat here but next time I’m in San Antonio I probably will. It was a nice hangout spot although we just walked through it. Definitely the “it” spot where people go to hang out and relax. Some really cool eatery options but even if you don’t eat here, the vibe is just super chill. It was crowded on a Saturday night but that’s probably to be expected.

Definitely seems like the Scottsdale (AZ) or Cherry Creek (CO) of San Antonio as the prices are high, the wine is fancy, and the atmosphere screams rich but it’s a cool spot that you can’t really hate on.

The service was great! Everyone was very kind and helpful, and knowledgeable about the beer/wine selection. The dining room was spacious, with family style dining as well as a patio area. We ordered pickup; our shawarma wrap was absolutely pathetic. Two tiny skewers of dry chicken that amounted to about half of a thinly sliced chicken breast, a large tortilla that looked like it was cooked the day before and left in the fridge to dry, and to top all the dryness of the meal off, no tzatziki (as listed) was provided. A hand full of dull veggies and no fresh herbs (as listed) to “balance” this meal out. My toddlers grilled cheese was so dry I was afraid to give it to her for fear of her choking on it. The fries provided with her meal tasted as if they were microwaved and also dry. We didn’t eat any of this crap.

Took my husband here for our 20th wedding anniversary, our first experience surprise and we both enjoyed every minute of it!

What an outstanding joint!  Perfectly placed in an industrial complex, so the weekend there is not too much traffic.  Did a 1:00pm tour with six other folks and had a blast.  Big Mike, our tour guide is a professional and knower of all things Bourbon and Beer!  Extremely knowledgeable and taught us all many new things with regard to the way to enjoy Bourbon. What a great little spot! We are always in the hunt for places with yummy food and chill vibes and Longtab delivered!!! We had the garlic parm pretzel (10/10), the pulled pork sandwich (8/10) and the grown up grilled cheese with bacon (7/10).

Our biggest complaint is that the wait to order food was long and we weren’t checked on often. We would have spent more money, y’all!

I had a great bartender, Alyssa, who let me sample some of the beers. Her service was amazing! The beer I selected was an amber beer. It was really good. We also had fried pickles & they were absolutely delicious! I cannot wait to go back, hopefully I can make it out to trivia night!

Pretty chill place with great burgers. The Bacon Jammer was fantastic and it all starts with the perfectly charred burger. The fried jalapenos and bacon jam tie this all together, but the meat is the star, great crust and perfectly seasoned. Second time here and they always treat you well.

Great craft beer spot with a relaxed and welcoming vibe. Excellent tap selection. I had the Untitled Art Chocolate Graham Cracker Pastry Stout on tap and it was rich, smooth, and perfectly poured. Really nice experience when I go. Never have a bad time. The environment is super chill. They are a beer focused station so you will find a variety of beers on taps. For you cider lovers unfortunately they only have 2 usually on tap. They do have wine but do nit expect the wine to be from vineyards of France. This is a perfect spot for enjoying some beers and food. It’s a small place with a few TVs and chill vibes. The person who helped us was nice and attentive. The beer menu is huge, I had a hard time deciding since they don’t do tasters or flights. Ultimately I tried a couple of Texas IPAs. Joey, the owner, is so friendly and goes out of his way to make sure his customers are happy and having a good time.

You definitely have to come open minded to try beer that you’ve never had before! They definitely have some interesting selections. (Interesting in a good way!!)

If you come hungry, be sure to try one of their pizzas. They come out so fast, fresh and so delicious! We tried the White out and the Spicy Meat Sweats (we added jalapeños) both were 10/10 delicious!

Roadmap Brewing Co. is an awesome spot with a ton of great beers to choose from. This place probably has my favorite beers in San Antonio so far. The space is pretty large, so there’s plenty of room to spread out and relax. One of the best parts—it’s dog friendly inside, which was a huge plus on a hot day. Great atmosphere, great brews, and very welcoming for both people and pups. Highly recommend!

Awesome little dog-friendly brewery! Roadmap Brewing has a wide variety of unique beers to choose from, and they offer great happy hour specials.
We were thrilled that our dogs were welcome inside, especially since it was a bit warmer than we had hoped for when we planned our trip.

Roadmap Brewing Co., which is located off of North Alamo Street in San Antonio, Texas, is a great spot for craft beer & cider in SATX!! The vibes inside Roadmap are excellent, as it is a doggo friendly spot, they have a large projector displaying local sports, and the place is immaculately clean + well-kept. The staff at Roadmap are SO nice, which really enhances the experience when you visit. They have WiFi, so it's a convenient spot for a little drink while you study or do some work. It's also a great spot to gather with friends + family, as they have lots of tables and seating available throughout the brewery. It's spacious, while also being cozy & comfortable. They also have merch for sale in the front when you order! Although they do not have a full kitchen or food menu available, there is a food truck that is situated outside (Last Place Burgers) - it's a nice touch if you're looking for a bite while you're on their campus! :-)

Favorite brewery-bar experience during my week vacation to Austin- Waxahachee- San Antonio. We had a great time here last night! The live entertainment was absolutely amazing! J-Nicole brought the fire with acoustic covers. This is a pretty laid-back place. It's good for conversation and catching up with friends while drinking an awesome beer. The beer selections are plentiful. Let me just say that my wife hates beer, but she loved their #2 fruity beer!
The food menu isn't really extensive, but what they have is good. The chicken tenders are actually real chicken... not processed or frozen. The Asada fries were really good! I'm looking forward to going back soon and hope they keep the live music coming. San Antonio definitely needs more venues like this.

Beer selection on tap looks good as usual. My biggest critiques today are

1. When we walked in the was one customer (I'm guessing) there and we didn't even get a greeting of any sort.
2. After standing directly at the bar for a few minutes the bartender finally acknowledged us and asked if we wanted anything.
3. They no longer offer samples.

They have something like 40 things on tap and not having a sample is kind of ridiculous given that every bar that has beer selections like this give tasters. If they're concerned about losing money on samples or to prevent people from getting sample after sample, there's ways to prevent this. They could limit samples. They could charge $1 for samples (one place charges $0.50 for each sample.) But reading a name on the board doesn't tell me much about the beer and buying a growler of beer you don't like sucks. I'll stick to The Flying Saucer, Big Hops, or even Yard House (I know they don't fill growlers.) But they give you samples and have better customer service even when they're packed out.

This brewery has lots of room, a big, high ceiling indoor area; it has at least one outdoor area, maybe more.  Really cool, cool vibe, see my pictures for how spacious and colorful it is.  The service is outstanding, I sat at the bar and did not want for anything.  The food looks great, I didn't eat.  They had about 10 beers on tap and I tried 9, on two flights, above average beer...  Overall, a very nice place.

Was looking for a place to go with a large party to get the San Antonio experience and came across this place. From other reviews it appeared to be good food and decent prices, so we gave it a shot. We had a wonderful lunch at Southerleigh! The industrial-chic setting inside the historic Pearl Brewery is absolutely stunning — rustic charm meets elevated style, with brewing tanks overhead and vintage details throughout.

We ordered the House Salad, which was fresh and crunchy with romaine, pickles, tomatoes, shaved cheese, and a creamy house dressing on the side — simple but flavorful. The Melon & Berries dish was bright and refreshing, loaded with watermelon, strawberries, pineapple, blueberries, and a touch of mint, paired with a whipped cream topping that brought it all together beautifully.

One of the best restaurants in San Antonio! Their fried chicken is so good, I would put them up against a lot of other places. The seasoning is perfection and the Crystal butter add a subtle kick that is just enough, even for those who don't enjoy the spicy side of life. The chicken n waffles is a must!

Absolutely Phenomenal! Worth a Flight!

The Hoppy Monk is an absolute gem! Our bartender, Nina, was fantastic—super knowledgeable about their incredible beer selection, which features a long list of unique and carefully curated brews. She helped us navigate the options perfectly.

For food, Nina recommended the Bacon Jam and Egg Burger, and WOW—this might just be the best burger I’ve ever had. It’s made with Akaushi TX beef, topped with a perfectly fried egg, rich bacon marmalade, aged cheddar, fresh wild arugula, and aioli. Every bite was mind-blowing. If you love burgers, this one is worth flying to San Antonio for!

This monastery is dedicated to the celebration of excellent beer and delicious food!  I had a great time here. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to help with making a selection from their large selection on draft.  They also serve cocktails and flights of whiskey, tequila, and beer.  The atmosphere is fantastic and comfortable, I really like the beams in the ceiling. I chose to check this place out based almost entirely on the name.  I wasn't disappointed at all! I met some friends here for a drink, and I was surprised at how spacious this place is once you walk through the doors. They have a huge outdoor area with a play area for kids. So don't let "Beer Garden" lead you to think this isn't a family place.
