Some great craft beers here. So after you have an average beer at the bar next door you can get the truly amazing ones to go all in one stop. The guy working the store was very cool. Had good suggestions. And you can fill growlers last I checked. Very cool.

Great Local Brewery!! Lake Pleasant on Rose Garden just south of 19th ave is a great find. Super friendly owners and staff greet everyone whom comes in. Allie is the best!! She also introduced me to her husband Nicolas, great guy, and the Brewer!! On a previous visit, I met Dustin (also an owner), friendly nice man as well. Seems to me they have the right ingredients for success in this business!! I arrived shortly after they opened around 3:15, few customers were there, but within the hour, they got busy. This tells you they have a really good following. Fantastic selection of Beers, Sours; etc. Snacks are available behind the bar, but around 4-4:30 a Food Truck arrives; nice, real nice for the hungers while having a great brew. I think their Pleasantly Hazy IPA might be my favorite. Also, they have a sour named BOSS that was very good. Mouthful of flavor, not to sour, very fruit-forward on the palate (crisp and refreshing actually), I would recommend to try. And not to forget they have something special I've never tried before (anywhere),, "Hop-Water",,, Allie gave me a glass to drink... oh boy, that's some good stuff, right there!!! First time to this place last Saturday evening with a couple of friends; I hadn't even heard of it until I was called and asked to join them. It was a great experience.  Very friendly environment and good people working there. And the beer was excellent. I had them mix me up a black and tan with their Oatmeal Stout and their American Light Lager. It was so delicious; one of the best I've ever had. I even brought home a 4-pack of each.

Had a chance to sample a few of the beers today. Not only are the beers fantastic, but the vibe in the place is great as well. If you’re in the area swing by and grab a pint or 4. You’ll meet some fun folks and perhaps find yourself playing a retro arcade game or some cornhole. The crew at Lake Pleasant Brew Co are simply a chill group that you’ll want to grab a pint with.

It’s been a minute, like a whole pandemic since the last visit. They have improved a lot! On my first visit I experienced 1 or 2 that were good, the others had promise and I was hopeful. I used to believe this was one of the best breweries in Arizona.  After my most recent visit I’ve decided it’s not.  It’s THE best brewery in Arizona.  They’ve always presented one of the best Stouts anywhere.  They’ve always been adventurous in a solid good way, brewing solid based beers.  But lately they’re pushing it up to a whole other level with excellent Belgian style cherry brews that are not just excellent beer but a statement about the art of brewing.  In state known mostly for IPA and lagers they’re venturing into some of the most daring and challenging terrain in brewing.  They tend to lead with sours, which while excellent aren’t really my thing.  But their stouts and now Dubbel Krieck as well (in addition to basic lagers and IPA) takes the whole thing to another level and provides a wonderful facet under-represented in Arizona very successfully.  The facility and ambience remain, as they’ve always been, charmingly low key, unpretentious and relaxing.  I was hesitant to post this because they’re probably one of the ‘best kept secrets’ in the Valley and I’d hate crowds to interfere with my special brewery, but folks who really like beer and know something about it owe it to themselves to stop by and raise a pint or two here.  Don’t expect Roosevelt here though.  This is Grand and it’s character and charm are more fundamental and authentic.  Roosevelt has its own charms but people who really like beer and a more real and authentic street experience should absolutely love this place.  I can’t recommend Grand Avenue brewery too highly and I’ve sampled from Hungary to the Czech Republic to Holland and all over Belgium not to mention every brewery I could get to in Arizona, Florida and Colorado.  When it comes down to the beer Grand Avenue Brewery can play with the big boys.  Check it out!

So, two folks from the middle of no-where Texas find Kitsune Brewing whilst visiting Phoenix Az.  Blessings abound, JJ the owner and exceptional host of a great brewery with outstanding brews. Specifically, the most recent brews in the ongoing Forager series. These IPA fruit brews were the most full aroma, flavorful, palate pleasing IPAs I’ve experienced. Very large variety of beers are offered here, and they all have a great taste which is incredibly hard to find elsewhere. Although I am a lager guy (lagers are perfect here), I havent found a terrible beer yet of any style

We are so lucky to have Dynamite Brewing close to home. The beer is great and selection of taps available is extensive, something for everybody. In a back corner of Uptown Plaza is a new tap room and brewery called Dynamite Beer Company. The company started in Cave Creek and has since expanded and recently took over the Huss Brewing location in uptown Phoenix.

Currently, Dynamite Beer Company is a tap room and restaurant but they are working on brewing their own beers to add into their mix of taps. You have to have your own beer if you're going to call yourself a beer company, right?

The uptown location carries over much of the decor from the Huss days but thankfully there have been some nice upgrades, including new chairs (so much better than the old ones) and a new, fantastic menu.

My family and I decided to swing by on a random Sunday after a long day of house chores and the place was hopping. In addition to the crowd checking out the beer company, there was also some live music (Jesse Valenzuela from the Gin Blossoms was there, sooooooo awesome). We grabbed a table (seat yourself) and scanned the QR codes to check out the current beer selection. Wait-staff came by shortly after and gave us the food menus as well. The staff was very friendly even considering the packed crowd they had that afternoon. Dynamite had an "extra" outdoor area setup that day, which was great considering how many people were there.

My daughter got a kids pizza, my wife got the Chicken Pesto Wrap, and I ordered the Italian Grinder. We each (except the kid) ordered a beer as well, Pure Project Brewing's Ship Full Sail, which is inspired by ESB beers from the UK.

The food was excellent and we both were excited to eat the chips that came with out food. I don't know if they're the exact chips from the Huss days, but they certainly tasted like them (we love them). The beer was also fantastic and we both were happy to see that the beer menu wasn't 80% IPAs.

Dynamite also has a small wine selection. I personally would love to see some AZ wines added to the mix (and beers too) but the variety that they had when we stopped by should satisfy most people.

In all, my wife and I were really happy to see Mike running his own beer company as we've been patrons of the former Huss Brewing Company location since it opened (Mike helped launch + manage that location). We will definitely be back, especially in the summer when a cold beer and good food are all you're looking for.

Newly opened in the former Huss Brewing spot in Uptown Plaza. The grand opening was 3/22, but on this Sunday afternoon people were enjoying the 20 local brews on tap, some sunshine and good food.

This new place was clean with a great tap selection. Everything was great until I started grabbing stuff to go. Nearly every beer they had packs of they also had as singles to go, so I made a 4 pack. I was a bit surprised at how much my bill was, so I sent myself a receipt and saw that every can was priced at HALF of its respective pack. I had IPAs that were $13/can (minus my 10% mix pack discount), which is pretty outrageous. I asked my server about it after closing and she confirmed that those were the prices, then checked the 4-packs, which were mostly $26-28 each. I get that a bottle shop such as this will have some items costing more than say Total Wine, and I probably would have been ok if the cans were $8 or so but given how competitive this area is, to have their standard single can pricing so high is IMO a big issue for me.

I'm happy for the new space & business but this left a real sour taste in my mouth on
what was overall a good experience. Could I have gone through the rigimorale of returning 2 cans to get a 4 pack for the same price? Probably. But I was so taken aback by this cost I ended up just leaving. Hopefully this was a mistake from just opening and will be adjusted in the future.

Dynamite is a welcome addition to the neighborhood, taking over for the space Huss occupied. We would go to Huss occasionally but it was honestly a tad stale and quiet in the recent past. Dynamite has brought a new energy with regular plans for live music (which is so appreciated and has been amazing!). The pretzel with the feta whip is awesome and the selections of beer and wine have something for everyone. We are big fans of server Joey whom we knew from his days at sorso- he's always welcoming and quick to make us laugh. Definitely a place to check out and frequent!!

A very small brewery with a small but nice  tap list, even offering a Belgian  triple (you do not see that very often). Beer only plus beer to go and swag for sale. Ok.  So a rare 5 star.  Especially for a brewery!  If you want great beer and great atmosphere find your way to this little place in an industrial complex. Nothing but beer and ales and porters and… no mixed drinks… just beer.  Food is provided by outside food trucks but they have really good popcorn inside! (Really good, no joke).  Family owned and operated.  Never been somewhere they had a selection of 6 different hazy IPA’s !  They recently brewed a “Christmas brew” with hints of white chocolate and peppermint.  Not sweet… just hints.   And it really works.  Outstanding. Friendly crowd (some kids there with parents) and really fun time.  If breweries are your thing, this is definitely a place to try !

A true Phoenix gem. This taproom is far more than its slick appearance. The beer that goes on tap here is not easily found everywhere. That’s a fact. This place is awesome. Hands down best and widest selection, most friendly and helpful staff, and the food station out back makes it a great place to chill until you’re hungry (again). I can’t recommend this spot enough. I’m a huge fan of Superstition Meadery and they have my favorite meads (and a cider) from them pretty consistently. This place is great. The staff is very nice and informative of the beers available and where it comes from. Their spellbinder is their staple but their sours and barrel Aged stuff is nothing to snuff at nor avoid. Their son of frakenwally and pecan thief is very delicious and heavy. Their sours are also very good along with Uranus. They have a good breadth of variety of beers you can try and like.

Their outdoor patio is a nice touch along with the indoor decor being a very casual hangout brewery kind of place. It's a very unassuming place but you'll be very surprised at how good the beer is.

Decided to stop by the brewery, finally.  When you walk in, it's pretty spacious, long bar with plenty of seating. They also have high top tables and bench like seating/tables. They have several beers to choose from anywhere from IPAs, Sours, stouts, and others. So no matter what types of beer you like, I'm pretty certain you can find something to drink. They also offer you flights, which is a personal favorite in order to taste several at once. Also, I must tell you, they had this DJ person there (he's there every other week), and he does this like the family feud/trivia game. At first I was hesitant to play, but let me tell you, it's so much fun!!!! And the best part is that you can win gift cards to the brewery! Uhm, score! Great new brewery in North Phoenix. Some wonderful beers to be had to be sure, and seating inside and out. Brewing equipment on view behind partition, which is always fun to see. No food, but often there is a food truck right next to the patio, which us an option, but closes before the brewery does. Speaking of closing, the hours aren't for everyone, as they close pretty early, so not really an option for anyone having to work later hours. We went around 4pm on a Monday, it was slow but I really enjoyed it that way as it was my first time and I did not feel rushed. I ordered the Peach cider, very good! The King Joey Pale Ale is a light-bodied beer with distinct fruit notes. It maintains proper carbonation levels and finishes clean, making it suitable for food pairing. In general, this is fast becoming a new favorite of mine.

Team members were friendly and helpful. Orders were handled promptly and accurately.

I had an awesome experience here! I’m visiting the area from San Diego with my fiancé and we were on the hunt for a red ale. We called this place up and we were told they had a delicious Irish red ale on top and they were correct! Nice, open area to get out of the heat. I’ve been to this Fate location multiple times and it’s clearly the best! Most recently I had a surprise party for my mom and it went flawlessly. From the booking through the end of the visit the staff was excellent. Large, open-concept building, completely ground-level so it is very handicap accessible.

Really great beer and the place is very fun. However it seems like there's no AC or it's hardly working. There's also no cold water (the water dispenser does not have cold water and they do not have bottled). On a 109 degree day in Phoenix we could only have 1 beer before we had to leave. Pinnacle brewing has a fantastic Belgium Golden beer. Their Hefeweisen beer was almost great but was missing that extra something. My only complaint was that you only accepted cards for payment (no cash). Maybe you find this trendy or perhaps you don't trust your staff with a cash drawer but I find it annoying for people like myself who would rather pay in cash, tip in cash, than to have charges that I need to follow up on and have to deal with the dreaded tip screen swing around while an employee watches and waits. Cash is king, please change your policies.

Fire & Braids food truck is amazing! Hightened Mexican food topped with cojita cheese...I was really impressed with the tacos and nachos. Stopped by Four Peaks Brewing Company in Tempe just for drinks and dessert with the girls, and it did not disappoint. We sat at the first bar and I ordered the Pink Pony Club (vodka + peach schnapps = dreamy), and it was the perfect summer cocktail — light, fruity, and dangerously easy to drink.

For dessert, we shared the summer lemon bars with coconut ice cream, and wow. The lemon bars were tart and buttery, and that coconut ice cream was next-level — creamy, refreshing, and not too sweet.

Vibes were chill, service was fast, and the whole spot had a great local Tempe energy. Will definitely be back — maybe next time for the full dinner menu!

This place is huge and has ample places to sit. I love flights because I want to try all the beers but am a lightweight. The staff was so patient with me as I made my flight list and the beers did not disappoint!

I was also hungry (as always) so I decided to get a flight of tacos to go with my beer and because it was a Tuesday, they had birria and Taco Tuesday pricing (BONUS!).

I am a person who does not write many reviews good or bad. I have to speak up about this experience over the Fourth of July weekend at this establishment I made to trip out of state to visit OHSO because in previous experiences I have always had such a fantastic time as well as enjoyed the ambience for humans and animals.
I bring my Canine when I travel so I try to research the best places to keep a dog cool during the summer heat in Phoenix. I have been coming here out of state for many years to visit OHSO for that specific reason.
I went at 6pm and it was hot of course but the beautiful fans at the tables and the nice misters always keeps you cool and the animals enjoy the environment. I was sat at a table that the fans were not in working order. Around me was four open tables since it was the Holiday weekend. It was most definitely still cool with the misters and surrounding fans with the sun was going down. It was still comfortable enough and I thought it was going to be a great experience. I ordered an appetizers and drinks without any issue. 45 minutes into the meal the misters were cut off. The manager stated that the owner does not like them running after so many hours. That is the way it is sorry. No further explanation and or no resolution was given as a patron. Basically deal with it or leave were my current options.
She turned around and walked away to continue her conversation with other people.
I got up and moved my food, my drinks, and my stuff in the middle of my appetizers to another table with a working fan while she was watching this happen. Then moved my 75lb Canine and his stuff with now the staff watching. Unfortunately my food did not taste as good because of the delay of moving without any help.
Since Canines tempature normal is 102 degrees and above I could tell this was stressing my canine. The experience after that point forward was not satisfactory. I really wanted to stay and order dinner and dessert. The environment changed and no one within the facility that could help would make the effort. I simply just asked for the check and left. I normally make this place the last place I eat prior to leaving the state because the brunch is just wonderful on Sundays. This is the first time I chose not to. In fear that my Canine might get overheated and I will be labeled as a "difficult customer." I really hope this changes because it is an amazing place. I won't be returning to this establishment. I will also stop recommending this place to my friends and family for fear that it might happen to them when they travel through. I hope that this doesn't continue happening because it can really upset the canines which in turn upsets the Patrons of the restaurant.

If you’re looking for the perfect spot to enjoy great food, amazing cocktails, and a fun, welcoming atmosphere, O.H.S.O. should be at the top of your list! My recent visit was absolutely fantastic, and I can’t wait to go back.

We sat outside at the bar, and it was a dream. November in Arizona is truly unmatched, and O.H.S.O. makes the most of it with their spacious patio seating. The best part? Dogs are welcome on the back patio, and we saw the cutest pups ever. It really added to the laid-back, friendly vibe.

Now, onto the food—chef’s kiss! I ordered their mac and cheese and personalized it with bacon and jalapeños. It was rich, creamy, and absolutely bursting with flavor. The bacon added the perfect crunch, and the jalapeños brought just the right amount of heat. We also tried the chicken and waffles, and wow—crispy, fluffy, and perfectly balanced with the sweet syrup and savory chicken. Talk about comfort food done right!

The cocktails were another highlight. I had the Oasis Punch, which was fruity, refreshing, and exactly what I needed to pair with the meal. My partner had the Catch Me If You Cran, a seasonal cranberry cocktail that was tart, sweet, and perfectly crafted. Both drinks were so good we almost ordered seconds!

The service was top-notch, too. Our server was attentive, friendly, and made sure we were taken care of even though the place was buzzing with energy. Plus, with the ASU game playing on the TVs, the atmosphere was lively without being overwhelming.

Love the atmosphere, but not the craft beer. The flight choices were all a little weak in flavor, in my opinion. The IPA was good, though.
We came here because they allow dogs on patio. I love the water bar for the dogs. Our little dog got bit in the butt while walking to the table and cowered under the table the entire time. Owners of pets need to have a handle on their pets.

Great first time experience here the other week. We came here for brunch and were seated immediately. Service, food and value were awesome. The huge outdoor, well-shaded, Edison-bulb-illuminated, mini-palm-treed, mistered, dog-friendly, wicker-lanterned outdoor patio with its own big, rectangular, TV-dominated, well-worn wooden bar are all we need almost any night.  There are also big tables with padded seats and picnic tables for groups.  If you prefer non-fresco dining, the inside has its own cool and colorful vibe, with another big rectangular bar, padded booths and big, heavy wooden tables and a fully-on-display operating brewery.  So of course the beer list is epic.  But we're wine people and there were enough under-$50s to make us happy, and Sarah was made even happier by a cocktail suggested by the bartender, who gave us excellent service, both food and drink.  The menu offers a wide selection of elevated comfort food.  We shared the Steak & Fries starter (I recommend the smother-it-in-cheese-sauce option; otherwise it seems like too many fries) and the Savory Shrimp Taco Board. Cool spot to chill and watch a game. There are two bars, inside and outside. There are several seating options. It's a good place for large families and singles. TVs throughout.

The OSHO chopped salad with blackened shrimp was well prepared. I highly recommend it.

There's plenty of parking with accessible spaces and entrances.

A thriving gathering tribal outdoors and indoors setting which includes dogs with plenty of grackles occasionally flitting about. Great attentive servers, a large open air bar service, water trough fountains for dogs 🐕.

Food was great, I had the Vegetable burger, it was yummy with their special sauce oozing out and guacamole.  The salad was fresh and bun soft.

A great place to celebrate life.

My wife and I stopped in to OHSO randomly and for the first time today with our dog.  The food was amazing! But the experience was better.  Our waitress Kori, was so kind and caring. When it was said that we were out, because it was our dogs last day, she almost teared up. She was SO compassionate. She must have said something to her coworkers because other OHSO employees came up throughout our visit to come and say hi to Minka and show love. Eric, the bar manager, came over, spent time with us, and took the attached photo. It was an emotional day, but everyone at OHSO made it  so much better, and we are so thankful for the positive memories OHSO gave us today.
We're definitely going back.

The service was amazing and the food was delicious! A great place to hang out and watch the games, with multiple TVs playing all different games. The servers and bartenders were friendly and accommodating, and there's a really cool game room in the back with pinball machines, darts, and board games. A blast from the past! I highly recommend this place and I will definitely be returning for the food, games, and exceptional customer experience.
