Unique and interesting concept with a medieval theme within a collective of other breweries sharing a common outdoor seating area with a few food options. Came for the cask ale and would return for the great lager options. In a sea of breweries focusing on hoppy beers, this is the kind of brewery that needs to survive the industry correction. Visited on a knight fight night so the crowd was a good mix of folks. Owner was making the rounds, great guy. Can’t recommend this place enough!

This place is awesome! I was in SD touring breweries for 3 days, sampling about 90 different beers, and this place was my favorite. All the beers are great (as is the can art) and all have a story. Brewer/owner Mike was a wealth of knowledge, and the thought and attention to detail in each of his beers is amazing. I, as a novice home brewer, was inspired by this establishment and all of its offerings! Well done, and have a great 2nd anniversary blast! Wish I could be there.

This place is amazing. If you like real ale (cask), it is a must try. Every beer on the menu is delicious. If your idea of adventurous beer tasting is the day you switched from Bud to Michelob, you might be a little intimidated, but don’t be. The staff is super helpful and will find a beer for you.

Wonderful family owned/operated brewery! The atmosphere feels clean and fresh - not trying too hard (like many other breweries out there), but still very comfortable and inviting. First time visiting and we're so glad we did!

Large, long countertop bar offers upfront seating and there are quite a few table and chairs setups to accommodate both large and small groups indoors. Outdoor area was hosting a special event and was spacious as well.

Tessa made recommendations and took care of us while we were there. Between the two of us, we enjoyed a West Coast IPA (Vibe Check), DDHIPA (Double Trouble), Irish Red (Delaney's), Helles Bock (Bavarian Blitz), and Vienna Lager (Alpenglow). Each one was delicious and flavorful. Hard to pick a favorite!

TVs had the Padres game on for us to watch while we were there.

There are a wide variety of board games and puzzles to play plus some non-alcoholic beverages and snacks to choose from.

Kid and dog friendly. Spacious restrooms.

Overall nice environment to hang out with friends, unwind from the day, or go for a date.

Rarely do you find yourself in Santee unless you’re driving through or you live nearby, but had this on my list so we stopped for a pint. Not far from the highway and located in the classic California scene…an industrial business park. Clean and open space, standard for modern breweries. Owner and brewer is a great guy who is passionate about his operation and beers. Plenty of lagers and European styles, which these days is awesome as it seems every new brewery focused on hoppy beers. Food trucks and some good tunes out on the patio are an added bonus. Just wish this place was closer to civilization. Worth the trek? Maybe. Worth a stop if you’re in the area? Absolutely.

I just love this little craft brewery. It has the feel of your comfy neighborhood bar, except it has fresh craft beer. I was in town visiting and my friend suggested this spot. There are a lot of tables and chairs and enjoy the sunshine or sit inside on the soft couch.

We went to the counter and I couldn't make up my mind what I wanted to drink so we tasted a few beers and they offer 2 different wines. I was not a fan of the wines so I opted foe the beers. I had the Lotus Sunset and my friends ordered their drinks. Another friend ordered the flight.

Pure Project has consistently excellent beer and a great atmosphere. It's really hard to beat as a go-to spot to grab a beer and relax. This location has tons of outdoor seating where you can enjoy the great San Diego weather. It can get a bit cold at night.  There is a covered patio and a decent amount of indoor seating, too. The space is large enough to accommodate all sizes of parties. It's a pet friendly establishment.

Parking can be a bit challenging to find, but that's true if everywhere in North Park. Almost all parking will be street parking somewhere near by.

My first time here and I absolutely loved it! The open, dog friendly space is such a great vibe and I even spotted a cat in an enclosed stroller, which was so cool! Fall Brewing’s new HQ, production facility and taproom in the former Saint Archer brewery location is a great evolution.  It has a very tropical ambiance and during nice weather, has huge roll-up doors open to let the sea breeze waft through.  Large outdoor Biergarten area in the shade.  The whole place just screams “comfortable” and is a popular location for small groups to socialize.  Great diverse food in the vicinity and since there typically is no on-site food, BYO is welcome and commonplace.  One fun fact that sets it apart from other establishments is that the restrooms are spotless and incredibly decorated with examples of some of the most inspired commercial art ever.  It’s like touring a gallery, but without the stuffy art snobs.

There has been a new pop-up sandwich guy there recently.  He is currently exclusive to Fall Brewing as he is just starting out and building a clientele.  It’s called “Wicked Rare Beefs” (no typo), and he sells the most incredible, tender and delicious roast beef sandwiches I’ve ever had.  He makes everything from scratch - BBQ sauce, rub for the roast, etc.  Sandwiches are made to order and portions are very generous - it’s a meal.
Currently, only Friday nights and he sometimes has a second sandwich offering - Pastrami, French Dip, Philly Cheesesteak.  All with the same quality and care in preparation.

Great beers, reasonable prices, fun staff, incredible ambiance.  Easy access just a block off Miramar Rd. Midway between 15 and 805 freeways in the “Beeramar” microbrewery district, so lots of other places nearby to try out as well.

Stopped by this beautiful Brewery/Bar after eating at the Doggos Gus next door. This bar is convenient located and you can order from Doggos from inside the bar with a tablet - how cool is that!

The atmosphere is very unconventional since it looks like the inside of the church but very cool - even has the church pews for seating.
There is a large communal table in the middle with booths on the sides. There’s a bar counter and a large selection of beers to choose from!

I had the Shoreveza Mexican Lager and the Every Everything West Coast IPA. Both great selections a easy drinks. Will definitely be back to try more!

Very cool spot located not too far from the Padres stadium!
Visited on a Wednesday afternoon, parking on street and across the street were both open.
The bartender (I spaced his name) was knowledgeable about the beer and had a very chill presence. Beers were as described and served cold!

Excellent new craft beer bar in South Park from Fall Brewing. The space is more chill and comfy than Fall’s tasting room on 30th. There are a mix of high-tops and old-skool big vinyl booths. I like their beers so I'm a bit biased. The location is very convenient as it's close to the Grape street dog park. This taproom is dog friendly. They have a patio off the sidewalk, which is nice if it's not too hot. Bring your sunscreen! :) Their staff is friendly and helpful deciding which beer you should try. My go-to is "Let's Go" IPA. I highly recommend this taproom!

4th visit. It doesn’t completely negate the previous 3 but our experience recently was fairly subpar. The pizza was burnt and the Caesar salad was straight up watery. Flavor was there but it seemed like someone skipped spinning or drying out the lettuce. Also, there is a new automatic $1.50 upcharge since it is served with a HALF of a soft boiled egg because…inflation?! I asked politely if I could have that removed but got a curt answer about how their POS system doesn’t allow for changes. Ohhhkay. Maybe you need to think about your POS system that reacts to real needs of customers. Orrr…just absorb a little bit of the cost occasionally if you want repeat customers. It is lovely the pours were only $6 🍻 so a total plus. The fries we ordered were really bland and not the best texturally. They advertise they show Wave soccer games but apparently their Apple TV was “broken;” according to an employee who just seemed mystified by my inquiry. We will probably return but I hope things get better.

We had a team dinner at here and tried out some different types of pizzas. I really like the atmosphere at this place, so fun and their pizzas are delicious. My favorite is the mushroom one. Their pizza crust is thin and fluffy, it’s more like a Italian style pizza, also a little bit like New York Style as well. Their beers are tasty. It’s a very cute spot for friends gathering.

Huge space with a true hometown vibe! Tons of merchandise that perfectly blends San Diego culture with the brewery’s roots. Honestly, some of the best beer you’ll ever have. The only downside is that it’s a bit of a drive for me, but totally worth it!

One of our new favorite spots, the drinks were delicious, the atmosphere was great, specially during a Padres game, we didn't try the food but it look really good and it's kid friendly and dog friendly! oh and cool merch at the store! Tony Gwynn's Museum was closed , which was a bummer but we will come back soon to visit it!

AleSmith is wonderful!!! This is a huge brewery and a staple in the San Diego brewing scene. In so many ways, it's an unsung hero of breweries to hang out at. They almost always have a food truck to grab a bite while you enjoy a huge variety of beer. Everything is well made, no offf flavor, and very clean. If you enjoy Stouts, they also feature a bunch of Speedway Stouts to choose from.

This is one of the few breweries that can accommodate huge parties. You can also rent out sections for special events. There is line dancing some days of the week in the back room as well.

There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Additionally, a large bar top where you can stand or sit and grab a quick drink. They have a huge patio area and endless parking to accommodate everyone. Throughout the brewery, there are TVs with the sports games on. On any given day, you will visit and see them supporting a charity, SDSU, or hosting an enthusiasts group of some kind. They even host a car show one is a while that awesome.

This brewery manages to maintain a small and local feel even though it is one of the most successful in San Diego. The staff is always helpful and attentive.

First time visiting from Texas. Great tasting beer. Was able to watch the college football playoff games on the big screen. There are heaters and a large oblong firepit outside to keep you warm. There is a pizza food truck that serves delicious thin crust pizza. Such a great experience

It may be one of the best tap locations I know.  Sitting at the marina front, drinking beer in the sun, and seeing an occasional seal in the water was priceless.  On top of that, their beers are really worth the whole buzz and acclamation they get. The place itself looks great. The service is quick and knows their beers. A must see if you are in the area.

This is a great brewery! Had an unexpected layover in SD and this was a highlight. Great beer on the bay here. Really enjoyed the cherry sour—with hints of cinnamon and vanilla. It was amazing and I still think about it. The patio was really nice either way benches at large tables for groups and Adirondack chairs with heaters by the water. The staff were knowledgeable and incredible personable. Would recommend Eppig to anyone visiting SD.

Eppig is the brewery I keep coming back to when I visit San Diego. I love the location right by the water with chairs available to sit and enjoy the view. If you are a fan of beer, this is worth checking out. They don't have ciders, so for the non-beer drinkers, you only have soda options. The brewery itself is spacious with indoor and outdoor options. They had a food truck/tent set up that was serving beef sandwiches for food. We tried the Plenty for All and Oh Yeah. Both options were good. I'm not much of a fan of beer, so the Oh Yeah was their least beer-y option. Hubby, who loves beer, thought it was like water lol! He liked his Plenty for All. Service is minimal as you go to the bar and order what you want.

Not to compare the two, but if you were looking for sort of a local In N Out type burger but upgraded slightly then this is the spot! Burger is extremely delicious and will season has a good amount of char but is thin and thick enough at the same time! The fries are superb. Just crunchy yet soft! I have been told about this place for years and finally made it in. The site is an interesting one, for sure. Very nice outdoor seating and a cool back area around the food. Beers are on par, and the food options are pretty decent. The only downside is that the groups, while I was here, are very local, and even the staff will click out and can be distracted by hanging out with them. It's understandable but shouldn't have impacted other customers. Myself and a few other I watched, had the same issue.

I love this place! If you are in East County and looking for delicious craft beer and delicious hamburgers and fries this is your place. I am a IPA drinker, and they have a great selection. The smash burger was melt in my mouth delicious! They have a newish burger trailer inside the back of the tasting room, and the food is super tasty! A cool place for food and drinks. This place featured quite a variety local beers and some wines. It’s self serve and pay by the ounces, a new concept to me. The food was decent and in particular the gyro rice plate, again it’s something new to me (gyro meat served with rice). The plate came with fresh Greek salad with plenty of olives, a few pieces of sliced pita, hummus, rice and gyro meat. The fish tacos were pretty big; they tasted fine, but not great. We sat outside to enjoy San Diego’s warm afternoon. Service was friendly and pretty quick. All in all, I would recommend this place for beers and lunches.

Hidden Craft SD was a great find! The food was flavorful and satisfying. I had the steak with fries, and it was cooked perfectly and topped with a delicious herb sauce. We also ordered the fish and chips, which were crispy and fresh. The side of sautéed green beans added a nice touch. Everything came out hot and well-seasoned. The casual yet trendy atmosphere made it a great spot to relax and enjoy good food. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting San Diego!

Really enjoyable brewery to stop and have a beer. It's off the beaten path, and they off a ton of different beer styles to choose from. It's an amazing place to visit in the sunny California weather. You can see the entire brewery and production facilities right when you walk in. It's a medium-sized tasting room with 2 bars to sit at and lots of tables with seating in the middle. Street parking and a parking lot on the side of the building.

I've been coming to this spot since they opened a little over a year ago. A really outstanding brewery, which is saying something in so heavily a saturated market as San Diego. There's a lot of natural lighting and they keep the doors open which creates a nice natural breeze throughout the taproom. Their beers are really good! I like their It's My Jam, Bring Out the Gimp, and San Diego 1915. There's usually a lot of street parking available. Come by!

Ballast Point Brewing has a solid beer and cider menu, including a cider that tastes like Mountain Dew Baja Blast. Their appetizers are also solid—would recommend the nachos. Beers here are always on point, no pun intended.  Recommend the flights if you haven't tried any of their beers. Their are mainly known for their ipas  and haze beers. Staff is super knowledgeable if you are unsure of what to try. Haze in the park is my favorite of the beers they have. The food, unfortunately, is slightly above average. On my first visit, i got the grilled chicken sandwich with pineapple Pico(not pictured). Chicken was a little dry, and the Pico didn't add all too much to the sandwich. Therefore, the sandwich ended up a 3/5 for me. My second visit i got was the catch of the day, served with mash potatoes and Brussel sprouts.  The fish was crispy and fresh and the capers add such a wonderful pop of brine to it. Mash was nice and creamy and perfectly seasoned.  However,  the Brussel sprouts were not cooked fully and were still hard, which brought the dish as a whole down. Ended up being another 3/5 for me. Still will return and continue trying different dishes because this place is still a solid go to in my book.

I've seen this place on and off for a year or two, and I finally decided to try it out. We tried the "True Dark" imperial stout, and the "Humble" oatmeal stout both were very good, especially the imperial stout being a bourbon barrel aged! Prices are super reasonable 👌
