This is a great craft beer bar with a fitting, cozy ambiance and an excellent tap list. The night I visited there was Hill Farmstead and Tilquin Geuze on draft along with several other quality, hard to find beers. They pour in Teku glasses and have half and full pour options.

This new spot is sooo cute. The dry aged burger is fantastic! Cooked well and had a nice surprising crunch. Best burger I had in a while. The croquettes were gone as soon as the plate landed on the table.

UPDATE as of March of 2025:  I worked with the manager, Marta, on throwing a small birthday party for my partner and she made it incredibly easy and seamless.  Everyone had a blast and really enjoyed themselves. This really is the perfect spot for any occasion - I love sitting here solo with a book, but also love coming with a friend or two. Found my way around keg and lantern in the West village and it totally reminded me there is a Keg & Lantern in red hook. It just so happens to be the red hook location is there brewery. Talk about locally brewed!... It doesn't get more local than that ... So when I walked in Cesar was bartending,he was definitely very accommodating when it came to me picking where I wanted to sit and very knowledgeable when it came to the beer selection and styles of beer they have on tap. With 23 taps in house makes for a great place to unwind and go on a beer tour. Then I had the Italian soprano a super light crushable style pilsner  beer that I immediately had to switch off of before I drank 20 of them. Cesar recommended me the Chilly Bin hopped pilsner. Not going to lie after that I had to try some food. So I chose the croquettes. Super light, airy and great to share . Then I moved on to the chicken sandwich and damn I must say it's a classic rendition of a Chicken sandwich but done right from the light breading of the chicken to the pickles and sesame seed bun, a touch that I love i can't lie. You also get a choice of salad or fries. I chose the salad for balance you know . So I must say Keg & Lantern West Village will def be a new spot in my village stomping grounds.

My favorite Other Half Brewing spot at NY! Surroundings are not best, maybe bit scary even haha, but totally worth to visit this taproom! Packed with bottles and merchendise! Awesome spot! Other Half is known for their great IPAs so it was nice to actually visit the original brewery location. They had an incredible sour on tap as well. We ordered a few tasters so we were able to try a variety. Also noted they had a few cocktail offerings for those who might prefer cocktails over beer. Nice atmosphere. Friendly staff. Quite a few friendly dogs too! We were there early enough in the day to snag a table, but the place was pretty busy by the time we left. They also had a grill set up for a few food offerings (hot dogs, tacos, etc). Can’t wait to visit again next time we’re in the area.

I've been a fan since the no-brick-and-mortar days! IPA lovers heaven... but there is something for everyone now!   On a recent trip last weekend, the Physica wines are amazing!! Awesome little stop for craft beers at very affordable prices. They have a few draft options, plus an amazing collection of single cans. There is something for everyone here.  Our party tried a lot of different beers.

We were in town for a "Goose" concert at MSG, and surprisingly they had Goose playing on the radio.  So this became our official  "pre game" spot.

The staff was great and very helpful with beer suggestions. A true connoisseur of his craft.

My go-to spot to grab a quick bite and a refreshing beer for the past few years. This place offers a diverse selection of craft beers and chill atmosphere. Solid brewery near Rockefeller Center! I like how it’s tucked away from tourist spots. The space is way smaller than the one in Domino Park but plenty of beer options to choose from. If you’re a hazy IPA person like me, this is your place. Most of their drafts are IPAs. Had the Cheddar and Big Citra Vibes, and the Cheddar was my preference, a bolder profile than the Big Citra Vibes. No food available but you can bring pizza from next door or any other outside food. You can also buy beer packs if you’re not planning to drink it there. Definitely a great spot to catch up with friends or go on a date!

We visited on a Saturday afternoon, and the place was pretty quiet.

We stopped in the other day for the first time to have a coffee.  It is a very relaxed vibe here with most customers having a morning coffee and snack while working on their computers.  They have seating outside on the sidewalk, in a closed off area on 54th street and inside in front and in a larger room in back.  The choice spots seem to be the counter seats looking out on the streets thru fully opened windows.

UPDATE: Missed a detail in original review. The cans of beer in the fridge grouped by type, each with numbers for some reason. There’s no description for them, unless it’s on the can itself, and no QR codes linking to more info, so unless you already know exactly what you want, it's a bit of a guessing game. Wish it was as detailed as regular beer menu. On a more positive note, the patio furniture is back out, which means dogs are allowed outside again. Coffee drinks, which used to be consistently good, are now hit or miss. Still 3 stars.

I used to come here often for both coffee and really interesting beers, especially during the pandemic. I personally think it's still a great neighborhood spot, but a few things have made me visit less.

The removal of the outdoor structure reduced seating, which was very much expected because of changing city rules, but the bigger issue is the inconsistency around dog policies—sometimes my dog is welcome, sometimes not, which has become frustrating.

I also had an unresolved issue with a consistently rude employee a couple of years ago that management kind of but never fully addressed.

I miss this place and stop by occasionally with guests visiting from out of town, but have been going to Jeffrey’s for a more predictable experience where I can feel comfortable with my dog hanging out.

Long overdue review for one of the best beer spots in the city. City Hops consistently has some of the most interesting beers in rotation, both on tap and in their fridges. Even better than the beer is the hospitality - the bartenders are super friendly and can always recommend you something that matches your preference (shout-out to Jose!) If beer isn't your thing, they also got a great selection of wines by the glass and plenty of non-alcoholic choices. Two TVs allow you to catch multiple games at the same time. But with its big picturesque windows, City Hops is also the perfect place to grab a drink and watch NYC life pass by.

This is a small bar but holds so much character and charm to it! I was told about this place from a friend, and I'd effortlessly recommend it. The bartender is so kind and attentive. Nice little beer hall and shop with 24 taps of craft beer that rotates regularly. They also have a well curated selection in the fridge you can takeaway or enjoy in the bar.

The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. I got some beer to go, but also a flight to stay. I told the folks behind the bar what I liked and  they helped pick four great beers to enjoy while I wrote this review.

A wonderful craft beer selection with some fantastic breweries, see current menu in pictures. I always want to try as many as possible when touring so getting a flight is the best way, they only offered 3 drinks per flight.

A really nice venue, with a great beer garden and views if the Queensboro Bridge and Roosevelt Tramway, I couldn't recommend enough for Craft Beer enthusiasts.

We received some great service from entering until we left.

We didn't eat so cannot comment, but it looked good and there seemed to be lots of locals eating.

Idk why he texts in all caps all the time, it's kinda scary. Nonetheless, my innate curiosity got the best of me and I pulled up to get some ice cream in a Brewing Co.

First off, this place is TIGHT. A huge projector playing an NFL preseason game, a slew of canned and bottle beers, a rustic interior, a beautiful back patio with a dart board, patrons locked in on laptops drinking quality craft beers from local breweries, etc.

Second off, THAT ICE CREAM WAS SO DAMN GOOD. Shoutout to Betty Jo's Ice Cream. That Sweet Cherry Pie flavor might have been my favorite ice cream I've had all year, and I don't even like Cherry Pie lol. Betty Jo not messing around.

It all came together when I found out they were running a deal that if you bought a beer, you got a free scoop of vanilla ice cream to make a float. I didn’t get one because I’m really shy, but it looked really good.

They seem to have a great beer and cider menu but we come here for the fully plant-based menu. They use amazing plant-based "meat" and the pub food is truly stellar. Came for Sunday bar trivia as a group of friends in our late 20s (attended during the back to college weekend). Had really good cozy craft beer bar energy. Trivia/bar crowd was fun, not too rowdy. Craft beers had tons of variety, the sours were particularly delicious. Bar also had sangria and ciders as options (no hard alcohol). Loved this place. Was in Queeens on unrelated business and afterwards googled breweries near me, and it was really close by.  Once we got there I was amazed at how cool this place was, all the little details here, and there they let you sample before you buy and they all taste great to be honest. I always like buying merch at breweries and bought their last camo trucker hat. Fire!! They also have pinball and a few arcade cabinets only things it was a 90° summer day and they only have fans inside... but I can picture this place lit on a cool summer night.

Awesome selection of rotating taps with a great variety of beers.  Their online draft list links directly to Untappd, so you can check out reviews of their selection before making your choice. Third review and each time such a different experience. Quiet and Monday so we had a nice window table. As usual  really nice beer selections. I stopped in on a Sunday afternoon while waiting to pick up a pizza across the street. I was surprised at the number of beers they had on draft. It was a cozy place and the bartender that helped me was hot af. I ordered an IPA and tried to pay with a credit card until he told me there was a two drink minimum for using a card, so I had to go get cash from my mom who was with me. Not a big deal but we didn’t have ones on hand so I couldn’t tip him. It was a beautiful day so he came by to open all the windows and let fresh air in which made it extra enjoyable. He politely asked if he could open our window as it was getting a “little hot” in there. It wasn’t just the temp! Anyway, it was a great visit. I would have stayed longer but had to get my pizza and catch a flight home. Definitely would visit again!

I just discovered my favorite house made potato chips in years! Just order it, even if you are not hungry - it’s so crispy, light and airy, with exactly the right amount of special seasoning. That said, they are dog friendly. As in: your pooch can dine inside.

The cocktails are expertly made. They’re also expertly priced.

The vibe: tech bros, SoHo art gallery owners, TriBeCa couples & their dog…basically the same people who live in the surrounding neighborhood.

First time checking out this brewery which is spacious and dog-friendly. I got the Almost Famous hazy IPA which was tasty. The staffs are very friendly and stopped by multiple times to check on us. There’s also a downstairs where they have the cellar and brew house along with a to go fridge next to the bathroom. Lots of TVs near the bar, and they have football specials which is nice.
