I'd been meaning to come here for some time and it did not disappoint. The gaslight lager is very light and crisp and the Bär with strawberry is perfect and refreshing for the summer. The fact that we have a brewery this close and by a barbecue joint is amazing.

For those waiting on orders via Slaps, instead of just standing in line, why not stop by for a drink since it's right there?

I will definitely be stopping by more often and trying all their new concoctions by the friendly staff.

Philip was fun and funny and knowledgeable and kind and patient. The beers, and I tried all of them, are really good!  Having Slap’s BBQ across the street is such a score!  Grab some Slap’s and head here for the best beer to complement.

This tour was really cool. I’ve never toured a brewery, and this was a great choice for my first! Very knowledgeable and friendly guides, with lots of cool spaces to see. The bar area open to the public was fantastic too. The only disappointing thing for me was the beer itself. It was fine, don’t get me wrong, but I can honestly say that none of their offerings blew my socks off. So, the tour and experience is definitely 5 stars, but for me the beer is only 4.

Very cool event space. I went for a specific American Home Brewers Championship winners announcement. The beer was good with multiple bars. However, there were only a few beers there that were unique to the brewery and you couldn't get elsewhere. I would have like to see more unique beers there that would make it feel like a special trip. There was lots of merchandise in the shop, but again, would have liked to see more unique beer in the shop.

Amazing brewery that makes my favorite beer. Space Camper and all its iterations are delicious. There are two floors, with a gift shop and mini museum on the first floor and a beautiful sprawling taproom upstairs. We went in June and the place was decked out for Pride month. So safe and welcoming. Great beer. Great merch. Awesome setting.

Boulevard Brewing Tours and Recreation center offers a perfect hang out to enjoy the iconic Kansas City Boulevard Brewery brews alongside a gathering of your favorite friends and family. Age agnostic, this is a mature but responsible environment that allows for the enjoyment of a beer with underage patrons present. Great experience! Samples were great and generous for what you pay for the tour. The guides were great and very personable. From someone who is also in the craft industry, the answered questions openly and to the best of their ability with added humor along the way. I would recommend!

We drove past this place several times when the Broadway extension was closed. We finally got an opportunity to visit last week and I am so happy that we did. Great patriotic atmosphere. Comfortable and ample seating. The beer was delicious and the bartender was friendly and knowledgeable. There is food available from the restaurant next door that you order on a pad near the door. We did not eat, but the young veteran that we sat by at the bar was eating some nachos that she said were amazing. I highly recommend this place and cannot wait to meet some friends there soon.

Enjoyed my first experience here! First impression is a laid back somewhat dive bar vibe that definitely supports veterans and first responders. I even see on their website that they welcome ways to collaborate to honor military, veterans, and first responders.

I went with a couple of lighter beers—the Freedom Lager and the Screaming Eagle Cream Ale—that I found to be as easily drinkable as say a Miller Lite (similar texture) but with great unique flavor. I rated them both highly and would recommend.

Callsign also has live music every Friday 7:00-9:00 which I love. This particular night they featured Lindsay Blacksher who is just lovely.

Ok so I'm from San Diego and I came here for a girls weekend. My buddy recommend we're go here and wow was I ever impressed. I got the on tap hazy and the peach cider. We ordered the Brussels and a 12 inch pizza and it was much larger than expected. Service was AMAZING. Our waitress was phenomenal!  The beer is delicious and so is the food. Can't wait to go back.

First time at Call Sign. Veteran owned on Veterans Day.  I found the Oath to be a very tasty American IPA.  Plenty of choices to choose from.  Plenty of space with a very nice vibe.

Coolest, most eclectic small taproom I have ever visited - and I have been in a few!! Wonderful selection of beers and an electric environment that grabs the eyes everywhere you look. They have a huge variety of homemade flavored seltzers and hands down the greatest beer I have ever tasted ... a 16% ABV Rum Barrel Aged Imperial Stout!

Update Visit: Revisted friday with the same friends.  Had the Octoberfest beer, which was quite good and some burgers from next door.  The environment is still very loud and they have done nothing to reduce the noise and echoey hard surfaces as the next door restaurant has.  Love the outdoor tables and close food, but indoors is way too loud for our group. 3.5 stars.

Visited on a Friday with 2 friends.  They only had 2 beers of their own the rest were guest taps.  They had their Czech lager and Kolsch.  Both were good beers true to their style.  The taproom was very noisy, due to all of the hard surfaces.  They also had music playing adding to the noise level.  Decorations were sparse, and it appears the brew area is not quite finished.  I'll give them another try later when they have more of their own on tap and hopefully they can address the noise level in some way.

This area has really developed and still continues to be expanding. Stopped in on Friday after they opened at 3pm. I wish they offered any sort of food options, but we did order a pizza and a pretzel from the pizza place they share a door with. The beer was decent. The beer I ordered was supposed to be 16oz, but it ended up being 12oz. The atmosphere is a bit frigid, but not in terms of temperature. Not a bad experience overall, but I can't see myself making an effort to visit again.

Crane Brewing is our favorite little off the trail place to go after a beautiful ride on the Rock Island Trail. Their hopped lemonade is delicious and my husband loves the house beer. Quaint is a great word for this place. The food is good too for a snack after a bike ride. Today, the ONE person who was working a packed house by himself did a great job! No bad attitude from him even though the line was continuously out the door and every table was full. We will be back but please get your guy some help!!

I can’t believe I haven’t reviewed my favorite local place before! We’ve been stopping in here for several years now. We love stopping in here after our bike rides or runs. Super convenient being located right on the Rock Island Trail in Raytown. The staff is wonderfully friendly. It has bike parking. Outdoor seating in nice weather. And now that the parking lot is getting paved, that will be so much nicer to sit outside with no dust! They keep coming up with new drink mixes and flavors, so even if you are not a beer drinker, there is something you’ll love! The wine slushees are especially tasty on a hot summer day!

Breweries are my jam! So when I found out Crane had their own, I had to come! I love the homeyness this brewery gives! Tried their Vast Lands at a Hyvee, & fell in love instantly! I mean obsessed with the beer! I made the mistake of thinking it was an IPA 🤦🏽‍♀️, however, the taste was super smooth! Now, my obsession was real because I called prior to coming to see if it was still in season. Unfortunately, it isn’t. The Blood Orange Vast Lands is just as tasty! The staff are incredible! We had an excellent time at Crane. The space is small, and even more restricted due to COVID safety guidelines. The staff were masked and otherwise following safety guidelines. They do have the rolling garage doors to open it up, and they also have patio seating when the weather cooperates with each.

We had three beers each, and liked them all. I've always thought Crane brewed almost exclusively sour beers, and was glad to find they have been able to expand that to accommodate other palates. We each had three beers and liked them all. We had some chips and salsa to snack on while having most of our beers; and once our order from Harp BBQ next door was ready, we brought that into Crane to enjoy with another beer.

The entrance and restrooms are semi-accessible. Restrooms are gender specific. There isn't really dedicated parking, but there's plenty of street parking as this is in an underused business area.

One of my favorite local places. With the staff changes or whatever is going on it's just not the same. Sure they are still super friendly but the music is often off now, the vibe is boring, and don't ask for a mixed drink anymore some of the bar tenders don't even know how to make the drinks on their menu... Buffalo chicken sandwich! Ohhh I love a good buffalo chicken sandwich and this was it. Jacob recommended this over the street tacos and I don't think he has as wrong!

Absolutely popping environment with a great indoors area and outdoor seating. Outdoor space was limited but hey, it's there 🤷🏼‍♂️

BrewLab is such a great place and we're lucky to have it in downtown OP.  Their beer never disappoints and the food is fantastic.  The food menu is huge so there are plenty of selections.  Everything we ordered was great but I was especially impressed with the jalapeno cole slaw!

When we arrived, they had a large crowd with most of the tables taken.  We were a little worried about how long it would take to get drinks.  However the staff was excellent and working hard.  We didn't wait long at all for them to take our order and bring our drinks.  The food came out quickly as well.  They also had a Trivia/Bingo game going on which was fun.  We'll definitely be back soon!

I feel so fortunate that we selected the Brew Lab for our son’s rehearsal dinner. It was a pleasure doing the planning with Melissa. She made it easy. Quite little pub, came for restaurant week! Was great, portions were plenty for both of us to share with each other! Truffle parm fries are great so are the garlic cheese curds. Food was pretty good, but maybe we got there on an off day.

It was super dark and gloomy in the restaurant on a Sunday evening. We ordered beer and shareables that were all on the happy hour special. We sat for about 10 minutes and ended up walking to the bar to get our beers that the waitress forgot. Odd service for not a super busy restaurant. Finally got the bill and we were charged extra for protein on the nachos (which was not stated on the menu)

Overall a strange experience, but the food was good. Probably won’t be back though.
